Suitcase full of valuables was stolen last Friday from a young couple who married just a few months ago.

The couple, Avreimi and Chavi Greenfield, came off a taxi on a street in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn; there they were supposed to take a ride Monsey.

The couple went to a house, to notify the owner that they are waiting for him. "We left the suitcase at the entrance to the building, and entered a minute to call the driver," they say. "But when we came out the suitcase was gone. We were shocked, it is a very religious area and for a moment we did not think anyone would steal our suitcase."

Suitcase actually contained all the couple's property, including a tallit with a crown gem, jewelry worth thousands of dollars and more.

The couple rushed to call the Shomrim organization and the police.

Greenfield's brother showed resourcefulness, located a security camera by one of the neighbors, and examined the photographs in which were seen a non Jewish woman, in her thirties, walking and dragging the couple's suitcase.

The assumption is that she works as a cleaner in the neighborhood.

Williamsburg community activists have promised a reward of a thousand dollars for information leading to capture the thief.
