Jerusalem Magistrates Court extended today (Tuesday) the detention of Shuvu Banim prisoners - Nachman, and his son Nathan Berland, Menachem Yeshurun and Aaron Tfilinsky who are suspected of counterfeiting, money laundering and more.

The arrest of Nachman, Aharon Tfilinsky and Yeshurun was postponed until Tuesday; the arrest of Nathan Berland was also extended until Tuesday.

Police arrested two weeks ago seven men, suspected that during the past few months engaged in money laundering hundreds of thousands of shekels, and fraud related to the assets and funds of the institution in the city.

Four of the seven detainees were taken on the same day to the Jerusalem District Court, and remand was extended by five days until Friday. Three other detainees, including an accountant, released under restrictive conditions.

The same week on Wednesday another suspect was arrested - Menachem Yeshurun, driver and gabbai of Rebbetzin Tehilla Berland and his arrest has been extended until Monday, then extended again until today.

On Friday, the four of them were brought for the second time to discuss extending the detention, after a long discussion the judge ruled that there is room to respond to police requirements and extended the remand in 7 days.
