"I am not despised? What about my dignity trampled? "

Rabbis who came to the house of Gab"d Eideh Charedi Hgri"t Weiss to tell him about a protest letter due to the harm of Rab"d, heard painful things from him • "What did you see to discriminate between blood and blood?"

"I am not despised? What about my dignity trampled? "

After the publication of a letter of protest of the Eideh Charedi, against degradation of Rab"d, Hagaon Rabbi Moshe Sternbuch, it turns out that the two rabbis who initiated the letter, also rose to the home of Ab"d Hgri"t Weiss - and ask his advice.

"What about my dignity trampled? I have not been despised in this campaign and what have you seen to discriminate between blood and blood?" asked Ab"d in pain.

The Rabbis were a little embarrassed, but simply explained that against Ab"d posters were not printed and thrown in the city streets, and no one called him a derogatory nickname, as they did the Av Beit Din. "We do not interfere in the halachic dispute among you, but the honor of the Torah there is no need to protest?" they hampered.

The rabbis felt that the opinion of Gab"d is not easy dealing with this issue, and said goodbye. Due to his respect, these rabbis decided that do not sign a letter of protest.
The Gab"d was also quoted as saying in a sermon to avrechim, that he thought digging graves, is not less severe than degrading a Talmid Chacham.

B'Chadrei Charedim also learned that other rabbis who were asked to sign, received threats from radical activists affiliated with the Atra Kadisha, and out of fear that they will suffer - pulled their hands out and didn't sign, despite the pain of the insult of Rab"d.
