Hgray"l Steinman rose to the Torah and directed Amalek at Yair Lapid

Early last week we revealed here the orders of Hgray"l Steinman to mention at the end of the Parsha, Ki Teze, in which case the war against Amalek is mentioned when Bnei Yisrael are coming out of Egypt and direct it towards the Finance Minister Yair Lapid.

During the lesson given by Hgray"l he noted that the opinion of the Chatam Sofer, zt"l is that during the reading it should be directed towards the commandments of wiping out Amalek, because next year is a leap year and more than twelve months will pass. In his remarks he added: "Amalek in our times should be directed at Yair Lapid ".

This Shabbos, before the reading of the Torah at 5 Hazon Ish Street in Bnei Brak, parent Hgray"l directed to remember the commandment of wiping out Amalek. When members asked if the first or second time, Hgray"l said: The main thing the first time. Hgray"l received the 7th Aliya.

Meanwhile, appeared today and published the pamphlet "High Holidays" in which Hgray"l Steinman calls strengthening the month of Elul and the High Holidays.
