Dushinsky Rebbe: "I'm sick of controversy in Ha'eida"

The Rebbe of Dushinsky who is recovering cardiac catheterization, referred this Shabbos during Shalosh Seudos to the Golovenzitz compound events in Beit Shemesh, and the controversy in the Eida Haredis between the Gaon Av Beis Din Hgri"t Weiss, and the Rosh Av Beis Din Hagaon Rabbi Moshe Sternbuch.

Many community members are involved on a personal level and have purchased apartments in the compound.

After saying the Torah as every week, the Rebbe departed from his custom and spoke of actuality. Behadrey Haredim brings the full transcript.

"I want to say something that years ago I would not say this, but in this situation I have to say this: We have a Beis Din and we have a Rosh Av Beis Din and even if there is something there, we should not intervene - we are small.

"Even if he tells you that right is left and left is right, then let alone if you say the left is left and right is right, one should certainly not intervene and ponder it.

"I feel terrible about this matter, it makes me sick and hurts me very much, and I shout about it from the walls of my heart, this situation is deteriorating downwards and one must stop it."

The Rebbe concluded that Hashem should help that controversy should end in Klal Yisroel.

It should be noted that some members of the BADATZ are connected to Dushinsky, including Hgra"i Ulman and Hgrn"h Frankel.

Doshinsky for Rab"d

Meanwhile, Posek of Edia Haredis and Dayan of Doshinsky, Hagaon Rabbi Amram Aufman, issued on Friday a letter condemning the offense of Rab"d Eida Haredis Hagaon Rabbi Moshe Sternbuch and states there are no graves in Beit Shemesh.

In his letter Hagr"a writes and unequivocally explains: "It should be known as one closest to the place of space, it is my duty to inform that all the ads and images and talk as if they are digging graves in Beit Shemesh, are all false and there are no graves for now. And if if there will be in the future, it will be clarified. There is disagreement in halachah among Gedolei Hador and kings are debating with each other. We should not get involved, and the matter is brought before them exclusively."

And here Hagr"a comes out strongly against those degrading the Rab"d and calls it, "a capital crime." He mentions a dispute which was at the time when they wrote something blasphemous about one of Gedolei Yisroel and the Minchas Yitzchok zt"l, Av Beis Din of the Eida Haredis, wrote that anyone humiliating a talmid chochom, 'the Geheinom ends and they do not end'.

Hagr"a surprises and also attacks rabbis and dayanim who caused the demeaning of the Rab"d, which probably means the words of Rabbi Menashe Philip from the U.S. who joined the sharp 'Kol Kore' of some rabbis from the United States against the excavations:

"And it does not matter if the writers are dayanim or rabbis or morei hora'os. Everything is falsely grounded. And even though according to their mistake, they aim for heaven's sake, never the less their talk and writings cause a disgrace of the honor of Torah which is not the way of Torah by those 'muktze' of the camp who act violently".

Hagr"a also adds that most of the Eida Morei Tzedek think like him: "And I say that what I have written, is really the opinion of the majority of Morei Hora'a of the Eida Haredis and most of haredi Judaism belonging to the Eida Haredis.

"What has been published is called faithful of the Eida Haredis," Rabbi Aufman attacks a number of activists who talk and supposedly represent the rows of the Eida, "There is no 'faithful' and no 'Eida Hareidis'. And it is simple they do not have a share in olam haba until they do full tshuva."

Hagr"a ends his letter with, "Where there are no people, strive to be a man and to observe "lo saguru mipnei ish ki hamishpat le'Elokim". And I shall hope that He will lower the fury about the disgrace of honor of the Torah, as I received from my Rebbes."

Motzi"m refuse to attend demonstration

One should note that the tailwind which the Rab"d received from Rabbi Aufman, was very successful among the public in general and among Dushinsky in particular. Possibly later this week more letters by rabbis will be published, following the pioneering letter of Rabbi Aufman regarding the degradation of Torah.

So far, not a peep was heard from the corridors of the Badatz and no one protested against the writings against the Rab"d by Asra Kadisha. On the contrary, one of the members of the Badatz (name withheld) who also serves as mentor and as the rabbi of some of the radical faction in the Eida Haredis and a supporter of Asra Kadisha, was quoted as one who expressed harsh words against the Rab"d. Due to honor of Gedolei Yisroel, Behadrey Haredim refrains from bringing his words.

Meanwhile, on Friday messengers of Asra Kadisha came to Dayanim and Morei Tzedek of the Eida Haredis, trying to drag them to come to the demonstration at the Golovenzitz site on Sunday. They lied that if they arrive, the Gab"d will also arrive at the demonstration.

All the rabbis turned them away, and no Dayan or More Tzedek acceded their request to protest on Sunday.

Even so, the leader of Kehal Chasidei Yerushalayim, Rabbi Avraham Simcha Hanun, announced last Thursday at his Beis Midrash in Beit Shemesh, that any avrech from the Kollel of the kehill who will go to the demonstrations, it will be deducted from his kollel stipend, and will not be considered an hour of study.
