An alarm sounded tonight (Saturday) at the Keshet village in the Golan Heights from falls of mortars near the settlement.
Residents went into protected spaces, and at the same time, the IDF Artillery Corps fired a Tamuz missile toward the source of the fire and managed to destroy a Syrian Army position.
During the day a few mortar shells were fired at Israel. The IDF said that these are a number of mortar leakage into the open spaces in the center of the Golan Heights, near Israeli border with Syria.
After the shooting which was carried out in the morning, the IDF filed a complaint for infringement to UN forces, but in the evening additional mortar shells were fired which were clearly audible in Keshet. The army said there are no casualties or damage. IDF forces responded by pointed firing to the source of the fire and damage was identified to the Syrian position from which the missile was fired.
Meanwhile, 15 wounded Syrians wounded in battles in Syria arrived this morning. Seven casualties were rushed to the Western Galilee Hospital, five wounded to the Ziv hospital, all of them in critical condition, and three more wounded arrived at the Poriah hospital in Tiberias, also in a difficult condition.
