Horror in the Catskill's: snakes nest under a baby's crib

Horror in South Fallsburg in the Catskills: An Orthodox mother, who lives with her family in the summer months in the bungalow colony, came at night to cover her baby, found snakes under his crib.

The incident occurred in the bungalow. The mother went prior to bedtime to see if the baby is well covered. She covered him and turned off the light – and then she heard a strange sound under the crib. When turned on the light and bent down to see the source of sound – she saw a gray snake crawling through a hole from the bottom of the wall, with most of his body already inside the room. In addition, she saw a small black snake coiled trying to make his way through the bags under the bed.

The mother panicked, picked up the baby and she screamed with terror. Due to the loud screams neighbors gathered and called the police department and special animal caretaker. They arrived a short time later and found a nest of snakes at home.

An expert was summoned to treat the snakes and examined the nest, and ruled that the snakes are poisonous whose biting may result in death. The snakes were transferred to a local veterinary institute.
