The yeshiva top burns: push which ignited Ponovicz

Dangerous development in old dispute at Ponovicz yeshiva or unpleasant incident created unintentionally and out of proportion?

Incident that took place today (Tuesday) in the afternoon, rekindled the fire at the yeshiva - 'haters' and 'terrorists'. The nature of the story is disagreement, as expected. The terrorists claim the attack. Haters claim it was accidental.

And first details: Two young students of Ponovicz belonging to the haters, stood in the street next to the yeshiva and spoke. Randomly, Hgr"s Markowitz Rosh Yeshiva of Ponovicz, who belongs to the faction 'terrorists' passed by, who is in ongoing dispute with his brother in law Hgr"a Kahneman. According to him, students of Hgr"s Markowitz, who were in the middle of talking, and have been influenced by the prevailing atmosphere of assault in their faction against Hgr"s - decided to attack Hgr"s. Thus, when he passed them, one of the boys pushed the other onto Hgr"s and he tripped and fell.
Accoridng to the version of the 'haters', it is a vicious lie. They argue that the boys sparred verbally and at one point one pushed the other as a mischievous act. They did not even notice the Rosh Yeshiva who was walking down the hill, next to them and, consequently, the boy who was pushed, completely accidentally pushed Hgr"s, who rushed to get up and leave the place.

'Haters' add and emphasize that unlike in the past cases when 'terrorists' hit their rabbis, this time the two students immediately went to Hgr"s Markowitz's house, where they asked for forgiveness and explained that they had no intention to hurt him, God forbid.
But the 'terrorists' were not moved by the apology, and explain that these students understood the disgraceful act "may cost them dearly," and they may suffer reprisals, so they went to ask Hgr"s to forgive them.

According to both versions, Hgr"s accepted the request for forgiveness and forgave the youngsters.

The terrorists did not stop there, and two of them went to the house of the old Rosh Yeshiva Hgri"g Edelstein, broke down the door and burst into shouts. It was only after several minutes that his grandchildren and his disciples staying in his home, succeeded in keeping them away from the home.
Besides, according to the haters, a series of reprisals by terrorists was made throughout the yeshiva, including: disconnecting power cables, divisive attack on the students by 'haters' and more.

The 'haters' bother to highlight the absurdity and irrationality of targeted attacks. "For three years now there has been quiet - even if it is stretched – between the pupils of the two factions. Rivalry is only legal sphere between the two men who head the two camps. How come the students now stand up and take such actions on their own? It would not be logical."
Moreover the 'haters' say that the students asked immediately after apologizing after the event that Hgr"s not tell anyone, and he promised that the story will stay with him. However, one of his disciples, who belongs to the 'terrorists' witnessed the case from the, tracked and events leaked it out, much to the chagrin of the attackers, when it came to Hgr"s acted in good faith.
