Monsey Chaverim volunteer was wounded on Thursday by paintballs fired at him and another volunteer.

One witness said he and his Chaverim members stood talking near the car when a car in which three young black men screeched to a halt beside them.

The driver pulled out a gun and fired six shots at them one by one while making insults against Jews.

One of the volunteers was slightly wounded in the stomach by the intensity of the ball and was transferred by Hatzalah to Nayak hospital.

The car in which the youngsters drove had a license plate of the State of North Carolina drove away, but two volunteers reported the incident to their friends who immediately surrounded the area and caught the car and the three young men. The volunteers delayed the youngsters until the arrival of police force called to the scene.

In the vehicle a CO2 pistol loaded with paintballs was found. The three were arrested and will be discussed on Tuesday whether to release them on bail or arrest them until the end of proceedings.
