On Yerushalayim Boulevard and corner of Rabbeinu Gershom in Ashdod was hit last night a 20 year old pedestrian by a passing vehicle when crossing a crosswalk. She received medical treatment, and then evacuated with severe head injury, to the Sheba hospital in Tel Hashomer.

Moshe Weitzman, Hatzalah, said: "the pedestrian was severely injured in her head as she crossed the street at a crosswalk and was hit by car. I and medics from the motorcycle unit of Hazalah gave her first aid. Later, she was evicted by mobile intensive care unit, when her condition is severe, anesthetized and ventilated to Tel Hashomer hospital."

MDA spokesman, Zaki Heller said: at 22:15 MDA Lachish received a report on a pedestrian hit by a car on Sderot Yerushalayim in Ashdod. Paramedics and MDA gave medical treatment to the girl in her 20's in a difficult situation, and evacuated her when she is unconscious with head trauma to hospital."

Accident victim is a graduate of Beis Yaakov seminary, who recently got engaged and is supposed to get married in Cheshvan.

In a bag she was holding and dropped during the accident was a photo album of her engagement.

Please pray for the recovery of Hadassah bat Nitzah.
