"What defamatory have they found in me?" • Rav Kluger responds to Satmar

Storm which erupted in the community of Rabbi Avraham Tzvi Kluger, Nezer Yisrael in Beit Shemesh, due to the removal from Kiryat Yoel and surroundings, refusing to fade.

Followers were enraged by the case and Rabbi Kluger sent a sedation fee, which he calls them to show restraint.

The opening remarks by Rabbi Kluger are that he received a free gift, the discovery of the thirteen attributes of mercy, the greatest of our generation, Rabbi of tens of thousands, unclear intentions, but he adds in the same breath that the words were the holy Rabbi Nachman of Breslev, "and the main answer, when one is degraded, be silent."

Rabbi Kluger expands and ask all friends "to keep the words of the sages, silences, curbing his mouth, not even rationalize, etc., as if nothing of the kind. We have no interest in the shadow of the shadow of the community controversy and who our members know how much we spoke to of his bromine and fame."

In his letter, he refers to the mental anguish which is now the lot of the community, and trying to explain it in his own way in Chassidus.

"And the truth I need to ask forgiveness from every friend and member, that because of me you have been disgraced and insulted. And man could say to himself, the main answer is silent, but on the other what to say? And I really understand each of the members who cannot stand the pain and experience."

Rabbi Kluger argues that we do not know why fault was imposed on him: "I saved myself. Inform you, I do not know what libel they found in me. Everyone knows quite well, as much as our love of God, fear of God, Torah, prayer commandments and good deeds - this is all our goal. Anyone can attest some existence and changed his holiness and purity. Where he had stood and where he stands now"...

Towards the end says Rabbi Kluger, because "known is the strong defamation received and I do not know the actions of someone and I do not want to know who did this, but I knew the power of the saint and his disciples teaches us all study methods, there is no despair in the world at all." And Hashem did not do this to drive us away but to bring us closer to him out of love, just like an only son"...
