Rebbe's son came home and found: Rebbe's possessions stolen

Burglars entered last Friday night into the home of Rabbi Eliezer Tzvi Taub, son of Kalow - U.S. Rebb and son in law of the Toldos Avraham Yitzchak Rebbe.

Burglars, who entered the family home in Jerusalem, stole large sums of money and Judaica.

According to estimates, two burglars followed the family members who spent Shabbos in Beitar Illit. Once they were certain that the family left the city, burglars entered the house on Shmuel Hanavi Street through the first floor balcony and then moved to the living room.

The thieves overturned the whole house and its contents, stole a lot of money and expensive silverware, including candlesticks they received for their wedding and a menorah. Additionally they stole Judaica belonging to different rebbes.

Yesterday (Motzei Shabbos) the family returned from Beitar Illit and were surprised to find the greatest damage.

The family called the police, who arrived and opened an investigation.
