A person who was speaking during prayers in a shull last Shabbos in Givatayim felt firsthand why "one should not speak during tefilla".

The mispalel, who was talking with a friend at the Tur Sinai shull on Hapoel Hatzair street, was asked - by another mispalel to exit the shull. When he came out – he was severely beaten until he needed medical treatment in hospital.

The suspect in the attack, a resident of Ramat-Gan, about 44, was arrested yesterday (Tuesday) by officers of the Givattayim station, and this morning he was brought to the Magistrates Court in Tel - Aviv for a remand hearing.

Further investigation is carried out by the Givattayim station.
