Only a day has passed since successfully completing the search for 10 year old boy Shimon Zorger, who disappeared while visiting with his parents in Kiryat Yoel, and again members of charity organizations and volunteers were asked to assist in locating a missing person.
This time it was an Orthodox Jew with Alzheimer age 58 who left his home in Queens
on Shabbos afternoon and then disappeared.
Search for him began intensively only yesterday afternoon. It is not clear why the family waited for two days until they turned to the charity organizations.
Extensive search continued all night, and only in the morning, the 'loss' was found. The man was found exhausted on Main Street in Queens. Apparently, due to Alzheimer's disease which he suffers, the man couldn’t find his way back. The volunteers took him home safe and sound, to the delight of the family.
