Bein Hazmanim tragedy: two Orthodox were killed in an accident, six passengers were injured Documentation

In the afternoon, (Tuesday) a little after 15:00 a severe car accident occurred on Route 90 from Tiberias to the Migdal Junction, between a commercial vehicle and truck. Accident killed a man and a woman, and four others were slightly injured moderate and severe.

Among the injured: a man of about 50, the truck driver with head injuries and multi-system damage, and MDA evacuated him by helicopter to Rambam, and 5 wounded in moderate condition.

MDA spokesman Zaki Heller said that medics and Magen David Adom paramedics gave medical treatment to 8 casualties, including two killed - 53-year-old man from the center of the country and a woman in her 50s. Victim drove a car with his wife and children some of whom were injured.
Arieh Shavit Hatzalah volunteer, said: "it was an accident with the involvement of a van which transports disabled people and a truck, unfortunately two of those involved in the accident - a man and a woman were killed, we gave medical treatment to the seriously injured and two children moderately to mildly injured, the truck driver was treated in moderate to severe condition".

Poriya hospital in Tiberias delivered to B'Chadrei Charedim that five injured were brought to the emergency room, including a 20, 50 and 55 year old in a situation defined medium with multi-system injuries and two people were slightly injured. Injured patients are in the emergency room.

Superintendent Moshe Weitzman, North police spokesman said in a conversation with B'Chadrei Charedim that preliminary investigation indicates that at around 15:15 a frontal accident occurred between a commercial vehicle traveling on Route 90 from Migdal intersection and a truck travelling to the Migdal intersection. As a result the driver was killed and his wife and three children were slightly to moderately injured. In the car also a 71-year-old woman was killed who was sitting with her 70 year old husband who was injured mildly to moderately.
