Tonight, shortly after midnight, a fire broke out at the Shefat Revivim synagogue, located in Netanya on Nordau Street, opposite the Chabad neighborhood. The synagogue was set on fire and 10 Torah scrolls were burned, some severely. There were no casualties.

Naftali David, chairman of United Hatzalah - Sharon told in pain to B'Chadrei Charedim "Hatzalah volunteers living in the area received a report on the synagogue on fire - and quickly reached the scene.

"Fire crews who arrived at the Ark rescued Torah scrolls, but seven of them were burned down. Three more books were also damaged. It was painful to watch. Additionally, many religious books that were in the synagogue went up in flames."

Fire fighters were able to extinguish the fire.
