Why was a resident of Kiryat Sanz put into a car, beaten and seriously injured?

In Kiryat Sanz in Netanya was attacked last night (Saturday) a religious man, 55, who was at a bus stop. He was seriously wounded and treated Hatzalah and evacuated by MDA to the hospital, Laniado located nearby - then transferred to Beilinson Hospital in Petach Tikva.

Why was the man beaten? Opinions are divided.

According to the evidence gathered by the police witnesses, he was attacked by a group of ultra-Orthodox, "after looking at a pregnant woman." According to this evidence, he was inserted into the black car and later found in a quiet corner near the hospital, Laniado, with serious injuries. A bystander called the police, and he was evacuated by the MDA, in moderate to severe condition, to a nearby hospital.

However, a police official said to B'Chadrei Charedim that there are no modesty patrols in Netanya, so it is not clear who committed the act, and that it is under investigation.

However, residents of the haredi neighborhood have a completely different version. They said last night at midnight, a young couple who came for vacation in Netanya – were taking a walk on the outskirts of the Kirya. According to them, a secular dressed man passed them, and when he saw the orthodox couple, pushed the woman with her husband - and shouted: "You do not let people walk on the street."

"The stunned avrech composed himself, held the the man and knocked him to the floor. However, the man did not flinch. He got up and started hitting the avrech. Passersby, who these days belong to residents from Bnei Brak and Jerusalem which currently fills Kiryat Sanz, began to gather around. While the man continued to beat wildly, several people grabbed him, put him into the car and let him go on the road near the inside campus, after which they say, he almost smashed the car windows, "say residents.

But this did not end the event. "He was released from the car and almost killed people on the street. He hit and shouted. He was attacked again by passers-by, when at the same time residents called the police and MDA - they forced the man to the hospital."

Sharon District police reported following this version, because victims are invited to testify at a police station in the city, or alternatively give evidence to noncom community.

According to residents of the community, that person is an eccentric and solitary and regularly prays at the Kiryat Sanz shul, and that this is a case in which he attacked two people physically.
