Belz Hasidim went up today – 28th Av – to Har Hamenuchos in Jerusalem, along with the Belzer Rebbe, to visit the grave of the Belzer Rebbe Mhr"a zt"l, buried there, in honor of the occasion of his hillula.
But masses of followers, pushed to see the Rebbe shedding tears over the gravestone, resulted in the collapse of the tombstone of the Posek Hador, Rabbi Moshe Feinstein, author of the Igros Moshe, buried nearby.
People who were present, expressed shock over the desecration of the gravestone.
Belzer Rebbe will conduct this evening the tish in Kiryat Belz in Jerusalem, combined with the engagement of his granddaughter, daughter of his son Rabbi Aharon Mordechai Rokeach.
