Five members of haredi family injured in car accident

Bnei Brak Haredi family went for a trip in the north and car capsized: father, 16 year old girl and three children - were injured and their condition is defined mild to moderate • "miraculously not seriously injured"

On the road between Ein Zeitim and Kadita Intersection in the Upper Galilee an accident occurred, when a van overturned. Paramedics and MDA gave medical treatment to five family members, and took them in a light to medium condition to the Rivka Ziv Hospital in Safed.

This is a haredi family, residents of Bnei Brak, including a father of 37, 16 year old girl and three children aged 8, 9 and 13 who were riding in a van and overturned several times.

Eran Itach, MDA paramedic from MDA Jordan, who was called to the scene, said in a conversation with Behadrey Haredim: "When we arrived we saw a mobile intensive care unit, and a commercial vehicle which had capsized, it was evident that this is a serious accident. Outside the vehicle were five family members, a man of about 37, a girl of about 16 and three children aged 8, 9, 13.

"Five of the wounded were fully conscious and seemed frightened, and miraculously they were not seriously injured, we gave them medical treatment at the scene and evacuated them by ambulances and MICU of MDA to the Ziv Hospital in Safed, while they are defined in mild to moderate condition - with injuries in the limbs and dry wounds all over their bodies."
