Hgr"s Amar shrugs off Hgr"o Yosef's envoy

Last attempt - a day before crucial elections for chief rabbinate, Hgr"o Yosef sent Rabbi Benaiah Shmueli on a personal mission to Hgr"s Amar and Hgr"tz Boaron; to the latter to withdraw his candidacy, and the first - to influence Hgr"tz Boaron to declare support of Hgr"y Yosef.

But Rabbi Shmueli was met by refusal: by Hgr"s Amar, who answered unequivocally that he does not intend to support Hgr"y Yosef, on the contrary, "I will support only Hgr"tz Boaron."

Even with Rabbi Boaron the meeting was a crushing failure and he refused to withdraw.

According to associates of Hgr"tz Boaron, Rabbi Shmueli came along with the Celebs Rabbi - Mordechai Chassidim, and heard from Mhgrt"z sharp things on the reasons why he chose to run for the role.

"If they would publicize what they had heard from Rabbi Boaron today, it would cause chaos," says one close source to B'Chadrei Charedim, he said harsh things on the heads of Shas.
