For the resolution of Jewish slaughter in Poland: Government of the committee appointed to deal with the crisis, the Polish religious affairs minister Michael Bonnie, came to the EU in Brussels and met with CEO of the Association of Jewish Union organizations, Rabbi Menachem Margolin.

The meeting was held in the office of Union Ambassador to Poland, during which the minister noted that the prohibition of slaughter is against the laws of freedom of religion in Poland should allow Jews to act according to their beliefs.

Minister and Rabbi Margolin had agreed that if the decision is not canceled, they will appeal to the Polish Supreme Court on the grounds that the decision is unconstitutional.

Rabbi Margolin explained the meaning of the kosher slaughter prohibition is difficult for Jews and described the Jewish slaughter process and efforts to avoid pain to animals.
