Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed this evening (Tuesday) the decision of the EU boycott, according to which all future agreements to be signed between the EU and Israel, will include a clause stating: "This agreement does not apply to any Israeli institution beyond the '67 borders."
Netanyahu said: "I would expect from those for whom the peace and stability in the region are important, to find time to discuss this after resolving issues which are a little more urgent, such as the civil war in Syria, or Iran's race for nuclear weapons."
He added: "We will not let harm hundreds of thousands of Israelis who live in Judea and Samaria, the Golan Heights and Jerusalem. We do not accept any external dictates of our borders. This issue will only be decided through direct negotiations between the parties."
Netanyahu convened earlier today a consultation with Justice Minister Tzipi Livni and Minister of Economy Naftali Bennett.
The expected decision will provide the Israeli government with a dilemma: whether to sign a clause stating explicitly that the areas of the West Bank, parts of Jerusalem and the Golan Heights are not part of Israel, and the activity to be included in the agreements signed will not apply to them, or insist - and put at risk of cancellation agreements which are essential.
