Mourning in Crown Heights: The toddler Ze'ev Aryeh Glick z"l, a year and a half old, who drowned in the pool last Shabbos at Coalt Springs in the mountains of New York - died.
On Shabbos morning, during the reading the Torah, the toddler went out with his brother Levi, 3 years old, from the shull and came to the pool area. The gate was locked, but the two children found a hole in the fence and managed to slip through.
Ze'ev Aryeh slipped and fell into the water pool. His rother got scared and started shouting. Daveners heard the screams and rushed to the pool area. However, since the gate was locked, it took long before the child was pulled from the pool.
For a long while paramedics performed CPR on the child until his pulse returned, and he was flown by helicopter to a hospital in Westchester. The doctors fought for his life, but unfortunately tonight he died.
