Ahmadinejad: "My greatest achievement - Holocaust denial"

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says that denying the Holocaust was one of the greatest achievements of eight years in office.
In 2005 he said the Holocaust was a myth, and proposed to move the Jews from Israel to Alaska. According to him, only he had the courage to overwhelm the subject: "It shattered the backbone of the capitalist West," he said.
Iranian news agency Fars quoted the words of the President, who is future to resign early next month. "The Holocaust was a taboo that no one in the West would hear," Ahmadinejad said Monday, in a conversation which Tehran Times which summed up the president's office.
Iran's elected president, Hassan Rohani said that the anti Israeli remarks made by Ahmadinejad "are full of hatred" and could spark a war.
Ceremony held in Tehran, the outgoing president said that "Ahmadinejad is a popular name throughout the world."
In December 2005, four months after he was first elected president, Ahmadinejad said that he does not accept the "historical argument" that the Nazis burned millions of Jews and imprisoned them in concentration camps.
