Summer struggles in Yaffo: Four detainees at Andromeda complex

Stormy demonstration at the Andromeda complex in Yaffo: Dozens of protesters came to protest the construction work on the site, involving desecration of the graves of ancestors, in their opinion.

Tel Aviv Police called to the scene made four arrests for disorderly conduct, and removed the rest of the protesters from the building.

This is another round of midsummer struggles Atra Kadisha activists are holding at the compound in question, made two years ago as one of the symbols of war of desecration of graves in Israel. According to the protesters, project entrepreneurial recently returned to work at the site. However it seems that broad support and backing the organization received during the struggle they announced two years ago, does not repeat itself.

About three weeks ago about a dozen demonstrators arrived, some affiliated with the Atra Kadisha organization. The protesters got into the building, and did not allow the continued work at the place.

Ten protesters were arrested on suspicion of violating the order and attempt to damage property at the site, and later released.
