Orthodox victory at the Western Wall: Over 5,000 seminary girls flooded this morning (Monday) the women's section at the Western Wall, while provocation women, held their Rosh Chodesh prayer ceremony under heavy security, a special fenced area was set up for them by police at the outlet plaza.

The police feared that Orthodox worshipers who came to the Western Wall will try to interfere with the ceremony of the provocation women, and therefore the police prevented friction between the parties. As part of the preparations, the police did not allow women of the Wall to pray in the women's section at the Western Wall, due to safety concern because the area was too full. Police also created a wide buffer between the women and the men's section.

Haredi youth whistled at Women of provocation using whistles, while the central prayer quorum was played over the PA system.

Two young haredim were arrested by the police.
Director of the Women provocation whined during media interviews: "Police today surrendered to the Orthodox bullying and placed us again in the back of the bus, the exhaust plaza. If we would have come without police security we could get in close to the wall, as we do for the past 24 years."

Police said that for the security of women, it was decided not to allow them into the women's section and not next to it. After the prayer plaza at the main building, the mekubal Rabbi David Basri took the microphone of the sound system, and held a prayer rally at the scene.

At around 9 am the provocation women left the Western Wall plaza and took the bus. Deputy Mayor of Jerusalem, Yitzchak Pindrus said: "Our plan worked. We filled the women's section so they could not enter."

Western Wall rabbi, Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz, said: "I invested many efforts to have a silent prayer."

Meanwhile, the transportation system collapsed and hundreds of seminary girls were left at bus stops throughout the city.
