Cops are afraid of a cup of coffee? • "delusional and wrong decision"

Every morning, for 14 years, Rabbi David Weisenstern from Jerusalem hands out hot drinks and cake to all at the Western Wall. Tomorrow (Monday), following the planned provocation of the organization Women of the Wall, police forbade him hand out drinks and cake.

Weisenstern spoke this morning with Yigal Levy, director of the Western Wall plaza, who told him that the police banned the distribution of hot drinks. He said hundreds of people enjoy every morning the distribution of drinks.

Distribution usually starts at 4 am to 8 pm. "Because at 7 these delusional women arrive I can't distribute?" He wondered. "There are people from all over the country who come from a vast distance to pray and receive at the beginning or end of prayer a cup of coffee or tea and a piece of cake, and it keeps them alive throughout the day. This is a wrong decision by the police."

Tomorrow (Monday), Rosh Chodesh Av, thousands of seminary girls and Orthodox women will join the prayer rally to be held at the Western Wall against the provocation against Women of the Wall. Even before the planned prayer at 6:30 will be placed a box sound system, and a bus fleet will serve in the ultra-Orthodox neighborhoods to the Western Wall and back. Police are preparing for the planned rally to prevent riots.
