Orthodox driver working with 'Egged' line 350, which drives from Bnei Brak to Ashdod, commented to a passenger who wanted to board the bus at the intersection of Coca Cola in Bnei Brak, on her clothes, and asked her to wear a cloak that covers her body.

The passenger agreed to the request, and the driver opened the back door for her to get on from the back.

According to a report in News 1, the passenger did not complain about the treatment, and was resented by one of the passengers complained that for that passenger the driver agreed to open the back door, but not for other women who were waiting at the station.

Passengers on the bus said to him that the new regulations prohibit opening the back door. But the explanation was not acceptable to the traveler, and he complained that the company had found the driver guilty of opening the back door illegally.

Because no complaint was filed by the passenger concerning the comment, there was no investigation made into the matter.

The driver received a fine equivalent to 30 hours.

Some of the ultra-Orthodox, who rebelled against the decision, announced that their money would pay the fine.
