Tragedy in Bnei Brak: Shortly after Shabbos, a seven month old baby lost consciousness in his house on Jabotinsky Street.
His parents, who did not want to violate Shabbos, ran with the child to a Terem clinic located on the street, where the team began resuscitation and were later joined by Hatzalah volunteers.
After resuscitation lasted about an hour, a MDA doctor had to confirm his death.
Yechiel Miller, a Hatzalah medic told B'Chadrei Charedim that case the background is not clear yet. But according to the mother, on Friday the child did not feel well, and the doctor at the Kupat Cholim told her that if there is deterioration in his health - contact the hospital immediately.
Asher Shlomovitz, CEO at Hatzalah Gush Dan, who rushed to the scene, said: "When I arrived along with more volunteers I joined the Terem staff performing CPR on the baby, and sadly after forty minutes he was pronounced dead.
"This couple had their only child after seven years, and the tragedy is very difficult. I later went to Ezer Mezion, to call Rabbi Hanina Tz'olk to speak with parents and handle the Israel Police. This evening the funeral will go out towards the Segula cemetery.Lost girl was found… in her bed
Another case occurred on Shabbos in Bnei Brak, and actually ended positively: Friday night searches were held after a two year old girl, who according to her sister went to play with her outside, but her tracks were lost.
The Durg chassidim, which the family of the girl belongs to, were looking for her for a few hours, but she was not found.
Due to lack of choice the family called the 1221 Hatzalah emergency line, and one of the volunteers came to the girl's home in order to investigate the parents.
Hatzalah Bnei Brak medic, Yechiel Miller decided to first search the family home, and he was surprised to find the girl sleeping in bed in her room...
