Bennett – Lapid alliance: cooperate in local elections too

Bennett – Lapid alliance extends to the municipal level: the newspaper Ma'ariv, reported this morning (Friday) that towards the municipal elections Lapid and Bennet ordered their CEOs to work together and cooperate in many communities.

In some localities cooperation will sum up to support of a candidate for mayor. At this stage, they agreed to reveal the settlements of Tirat HaCarmel and Ofakim. In other communities the support will extend and candidates of the two parties will not run for the local council.

Officials in both parties said to Ma'ariv, that "the good relationship between Lapid and Bennett led in this case to a close link between the two CEOs of the parties too. This cooperation was obvious among those that determine in both parties. It happens actually without many people knowing about it, but the CEOs of the parties meet regularly on a weekly, fortnightly basis."

"Everything here is done with the blessing of the chairmen," they stressed.
