Savion wedding: Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky surprised and came

Rabbi Shmuel Yaakov Borenstein, Rosh Yeshivat Yeshivat Kiryat Melech, married Rebbetzin Rachel Geffen, the widow of Rabbi Moshe Geffen zt"l, Rosh Yeshivat Knesset Yitzchak in Hadera.

As revealed this morning on B'Chadrei Charedim, the joy of the wedding was held at - Savion community synagogue, attended by 35 people.

The mesader kiddushin was the uncle of the bride - Hgrb"d Stefanski, Rosh Yeshiva of Ponovicz.

During the wedding feast Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky surprised Hgrs"i Bornstein, upon arriving especially in Savion, to attend the celebration and wish Mazel Tov.

During the seuda also came Roshei Yeshivas, friends and comrades of Hgrs"i, to attend and wish Mazel Tov. Among them was his friend Rabbi David Cohen, head of the Hebron Yeshiva, who also spoke at the simcha.

Also in attendance were the Hebron Geula Yeshiva rabbis, Rabbis of Yeshiva Knesset Yitzchak in Hadera, and Rabbis of Yeshiva Kiryat Melech, including: Hgr"b Weissbecker, Hgr"y Ehrenberg, Hgr"m Auerbach and Hgr"ch Wolkin.

The one in charge of the musical part was his student from Hebron Geula yeshiva, the wedding singer Kobi Greenbaum. The jester and the 'Grammer' was Moshe Tzvi Weintraub, a neighbor of Hgrs"i.

The wedding ended at 23:30 pm.

After the wedding the rosh yeshiva and his wife will go to the Yesodot settlement, where they will stay for a week.
