"Betzilo nichye bagoyim": preparations in Shuvu for Tisha B'Av in Morocco

The Shuvu Banim kehilla already became accustomed to the stay of their kehilla leader, Rabbi Eliezer Berland, in Morocco.

Behadrey Haredim learned that currently there are efforts to organize a special charter flight from Israel to Morocco with hundreds of Shuvu Banim chassidim, who wish to be with their Rav on Tisha B'Av. "There's a great desire to stay with the Rav during reciting of kinos," explains one of the chassidim in a conversation with Behadrey Haredim.

"It is known that this prayer by Rabbi Berland is special, it begins at sunrise and ends at noon, when the Rav says together with the audience verse by verse from the kinos, and shed tears as water for the destruction of the Temple. It's something that nobody wants to miss."

It was also reported that the Rebbetzin Tehilla Berland returned to Israel recently, after her visit to Morocco was shortened. She probably returned to Israel due to the Bar Mitzvah of her great-grandchild, the son of Rabbi Haim Reicher, which takes place tomorrow in Jerusalem.

As known, a few months ago Rabbi Berland, head of Shuvu Banim, left Israel after it became clear that he is wanted for questioning in the National Fraud Unit of the Israel Police.

Since then the Rav stayed in Miami, in Switzerland and since Pesach he has been staying in different cities in Morocco.
