Tax Authority is raiding the Klei Kodesh in the orthodox cities in the center of the country, from early morning Authority investigators raided the homes of avreichim working as sofrim and shoichtim in the center of the country.
So far at least ten avreichim were detained, some were released.
Witness in one of the neighborhoods where the raid took place said that a car with some researchers arrived early morning and searched for some residential addresses. "At some point, they asked some neighborhood kids various questions like:" Where is tefillin sold here? ".
Probably the mission is taking place because of various tax offenses such as lack of bookkeeping and tax evasion.
Tax Authority said in response to B'Chadrei Charedim: "Today there is extensive activity in the central region. At this stage we cannot give further details."
