For first time: Satmar factions united in rally against recruitment

Preparations for the demonstration rally in Manhattan against the recruit of yeshiva students, an initiative of the Satmar Rebbe, entered the final stretch.

Hasidic activists headed by the rabbis' committee of 'Mishmeres Chomosayich Yerushalayim' began to act decisively, to organize a huge demonstration which will receive a consensus from wall to wall.

In recent days, marathon sessions are held attended by participants from all levels of public functionaries, to complete the small details, after which the location and the exact time for the demonstration will be decided.

As apparent, the two factions of Satmar will join for the success of the event. "The demonstration in 5714 against the recruit of girls, was successful since tens of thousands of haredi residents of New York, converged around it as one person, and for this purpose we aim and are directed now as well," explained the activists.

For the last two months, the Satmar Rebbe utilizes all personal visits at his residence by an activist or rabbi to seek advice and ways to act against the recruit plans of the yeshiva students.
