Israeli drug case in Japan: Rabbi rescued prisoners children

Four children, children of Israeli parents were taken from their parents and sent to an orphanage with difficult conditions. This was reported extensively this week in Yedioth Ahronoth.

This is a pair of Israelis from Beersheba aged forty and sixty-five, living in Japan, who were arrested because they Ninety marijuana plants grew in their yard.

According to the couple, they grew the marijuana for personal use only.

Following the arrest the children, who ages range from one to nine, were taken into an orphanage with children from broken homes and the like.

Due to the fact that they are religious children, a Rabbi living in Japan enlisted to help, and who wishes to remain anonymous, using special means he was able to overcome the complicated bureaucracy in the country of the rising sun and rescued the children from the orphanage.

The one handling the case is Attorney Mordechai Zivin, who also served as the attorney of the boys arrested in Japan. Zivin refused to respond to B'Chadrei Charedim about the report.
