Fear of retaliation by Hezbollah? • Two 'Iron Dome' systems were placed in Tzfat and Haifa, in response to the escalation on the Syrian front • Iran: "Israel is working to create a Muslim civil war"

The blazing front in Syria and southern Lebanon, along with the influx of foreign reports in recent days about the attacks carried out by the Air Force in Damascus, are generally believed to be the main reasons for the decision to place batteries of Iron Dome in the north.

During the night two Iron Dome batteries were deployed in the north – in Haifa and Tzfat, the IDF also instructed the troops on the Syrian border to be especially alert to every step that might be meaningful.

Western intelligence officials confirmed that tonight a shipping of Fatah 110 Iranian missiles designated to reach Hezbollah, was bombed in Damascus for the second time in two days.

At night Syria already responded officially about the attack with threats, but given the precarious condition of Assad, it seems that he will not rejoice at the opening of another front against Israel, especially when Israel is targeting Hezbollah and Iranian shipments.

However, this afternoon deputy Syrian Foreign Minister, Faisal al Maqdad, expressed himself in an interview with CNN that Syria sees in the Israeli attack on Syria in Damascus as the declaration of war, and it will respond when and where it will see fit. In Damascus it was published that the Syrian government will meet today to decide on response measures.

The Iranians, however, reacted sharply, as usual: "The occupation entity operates to create a sectarian civil war between Islamic countries, allowing it to blow up the situation in the region," they announced. This was surpassed by General Ahmad Reza Fordestan, commander of the ground forces, who said to IRNA agency: "We stand by Syria, and if necessary we are ready to provide them the necessary training. We will not actively participate in its activities. The Syrian army has experience in dealing with the Zionist regime and is able to defend itself and does not need foreign aid. "
