After drone from Lebanon: a huge military exercise in north

IDF launched this week a huge surprise exercise in the north, in which were scrambled division, including recruiting hundreds of reservists called up for service. The exercise, planned as part of the annual training graph, is expected to last until the weekend.

The reservists were mobilized to emergency storage units in order to prepare for fighting in a short period.

A senior officer in Northern Command said in a briefing with military reporters: "the drill describes a situation of escalating in a short time period. Part of this we need to raise some orders of power and maneuver within 48 hours. Scenario we practice includes the development that leads to deterioration on the Lebanese front - and entry maneuver there."

The officer noted that the exercise of this type, which combines the reserve and quick exit training, has not taken in the sector place for many years. "The reality requires us to prepare accordingly," said the official, "the intention to maintain high readiness. We continue to prepare for every eventuality - even on the Lebanese front but not limited to."
