Borough Park: Thief 'swiped' equipment from a car of a Chaverim volunteer

An extraordinary chase took place yesterday (Sunday) afternoon in Borough Park: Orthodox passersby at the corner Ditmas and Mac - Donald neighborhood, rubbed their eyes in amazement at the sight of Shomrim volunteers chasing a young man dressed in a sweater of the Chaverim volunteers.
A short investigation found out that the young goy broke into a car belonging to a volunteer of the Chaverim organization, and stole all the expensive equipment in the car, including a laptop.
The owner of the stolen vehicle arrived in time to see the thief escape while wearing a sweater of the organization, and quickly called for help and started a pursuit of the thief.
A short time later Shomrim caught the thief with the equipment, and he was arrested by the police, who returned the items to their owners.
