From Monday to Monday •Mekubal Rav Benaiahu Shmueli in Meron

Its been a week since Harav Benaiahu Shmueli has been staying in Meron, accompanied by many of his followers. "From Monday till Monday," was the original target, and for that purpose two huge tents were set up to accommodate the hundreds of disciples who came to stay with the Rav.

"During the week the Rav gave Torah and Zohar classes, in honor of Rabi Shimon," says the Rav's faithful assistant, Mordechai Hassidim, who oversaw the preparations, including managing the huge kitchen which provided hot meals to all followers.

"On Shabbos hundreds of people ate in the tents, while hearing Divrei Torah and lessons from the Rav".

The peak was the kindling last night at midnight, at the tent area. Before the kindling, the blessing of Hagaon R' Ovadia Yosef, was heard over the telephone. "My beloved sons, I bless the holy audience who came for the honor of Rabi Shimon", said the Rav.

During the day Shas chairman Eli Yishai also came to the tent and received the blessing of the Rav.
