Free Syrian Army claims that the Israeli Air Force aircraft flew yesterday (Saturday) over the presidential palace in Damascus, and then attacked Sciences Research Center which claimed that there lay the headquarters of Syrian military unit in charge of chemical weapons. Currently, the rebels are the only ones who published the information, and delivered the formal approval report.

Announcement of the Military Council in Damascus and its environs said that yesterday, at about six in the morning, Israeli jets penetrated Syrian airspace. They passed over Assad's palace and above other security facilities, and then attacked a research center near the city.

According to the report, the Syrian air defense batteries fired at Israeli warplanes, but they managed to leave the airspace intact. Rebels claimed that the objective of the attack was the headquarters of the Syrian chemical weapons. They even posted a video showing smoke rising from the area.

Publication comes amid reports that the Assad regime has indeed made use of unconventional weapons.

Now, eyes are turned toward U.S. President Barack Obama who previously defined using unconventional means as a 'red line'. But Obama said over the weekend for two events in which was allegedly using sarin gas which has been documented in cameras, and said," still too little known about the matter."
