During the bonfire: A rocket landed in Sedot Negev

Qassam rocket exploded last night (Saturday), with the entry of Lag B'Omer, in Sedot Negev. There were no reports of injuries or damage to property.

A red alert air raid was sounded throughout all the surrounding communities and children roaming between Lag B'Omer bonfires hurried home.

In response, Israeli air force attacked during the night a terror facility and weapons storage site in the southern Gaza Strip. Gaza media reported that the targets attacked belong to Islamic Jihad.

The IDF Spokesman said: "precise targets identified and aircrafts returned safely to bases. The IDF will not tolerate any attempt to harm Israeli citizens and IDF soldiers and the IDF does not intend to allow a return to reality before Operation 'pillar of defense'. "IDF strongly condemns attempts to fire into the State of Israel and hold the Hamas terrorist organization responsible for this."
