A store owner in Crown Heights, Brooklyn was surprised: in a shipment he received at the weekend there were marijuana drugs valued at more than $ 50,000. The strange thing which raised the owner's concern, was the fact that his name appeared on the package.
The incident took place on Thursday, at 10:30 am, when the store owner was preparing for an additional business day.
During preparations he welcomed the courier of FedEx company, who brought with him the delivery of two buckets. The store owner, who is accustomed to receive deliveries, signed a document on delivery, and continued preparations for the opening of the store.
Just a few minutes later he found time to open the shipment, where he discovered the drugs. He hurried to call the police and reported a large amount of drugs in buckets. After further examination of the details of the package, he was shocked when he discovered his name appears on the package
.
But is not the end of the story. Even before the police arrived, an anonymous man entered the store dressed in the uniform of FedEx, and said: "I'm sorry. I have to return the package. This was a mistake."
The seller said that he called the police and it's on the way.
The man left.
Police officials explained that drug dealers use this method of fraud to move drugs around. "They deliberately sent the package to another place. Then they would guise as a messenger and enter a store, take back the package and disappear."
Police are tryiing to check the source of the sender.
