Orthodox stabbed near Borough Park: serious condition

Horror in Brooklyn: Orthodox was stabbed several times all over his body, near the Borough Park and Flatbush neighborhoods.

The stabbing occurred at 1:00 midnight (New York time), at the intersection of Quentin and Mac - Donald. Preliminary specifications indicate that the perpetrator was waiting at the crosswalk. When he noticed the Orthodox man stop at a red light, he walked to his car. The driver opened the window, and the attacker stabbed him brutally several times all over his body in front of his horrified wife beside him.

A passing car driver called the police and the rescue forces – which arrived with reinforcements to the scene. Hatzalah volunteers gave primary care to the wounded and transported him to the hospital, the Lateran, in a serious but stable condition.

Police and Shomrim volunteers opened the hunt for the perpetrator.

Due to the serious condition of the stabbed, it is still difficult to know what the reason being the stabbing was.

It should be noted that the area where the attack occurred, is inhabited mostly Orthodox Jewish residents. It is located at the interface between the Borough Park and Flatbush neighborhoods.
