16 year old religious boy of Long Island was arrested this week after posting a threat to his Facebook page that he plans to blow up the school he attends.

The boy is a pupil at Ruth and Hyman Simon, located on Washington Avenue in Lawrence.

His name was not published due to being a minor. "He did not like someone at school," the local deputy police chief estimated, "or that he had personal problems with the school itself." He also denied the connection between the arrest of the boy and the Boston Marathon line explosions which took the lives of three people and injuring more than 170 people.

The boy was charged with one count of threat of terrorism, crime and aggravated harassment.

Although the boy was arrested, Rabbi Yossi Bennett, the principal said he would not file a complaint with the police.

"Although he sent a serious threat against the school, we care about him," Bennett said, "In fact we prayed for him that he make it out of the story in peace."
