Finance Minister Yair Lapid cleared the discussions about Mrs. Ricky Cohen from Hadera to publish in his Facebook page another long post, in which he notes inverse properties that make up the Israeli character.
"We are both and both," began the minister. "Both good and bad, also love the country and are terribly upset at it, both think that this way we can not go on and know there is no choice."
Later he wrote: "We also feel that rabbis are good people who have dedicated their lives to a moral purpose, and are also shocked every time from the float of racist nonsense that comes out from their mouths."
About the identity of the state he wrote: "We are both Jews and democrats, even though it's unclear what it means."
Regarding the issue of haredim he wrote: "We both want there to be a Jewish tradition and Jewish heritage, otherwise why are we here and not in Brooklyn, and also that the Haredim serve and work because in Brookly they all work, and it does not make them any less Jewish."
Lapid finished his post with a clear conclusion, suggesting his ambitions in the upcoming tenure: "We also know, deep in our hearts that the world of both and both is disappearing, and one day soon we'll have to decide who we are."
