Orthodox initiative calls to unite tomorrow (Monday), Memorial Day and those who fell in Israel's wars, during the siren, which will be sounded at 10 am – for a prayer which will last two minutes.

"We've got two minutes, in all the land of Israel, once a year," writes Rabbi Mota Frank, the initiator, "during these 2 minutes, millions of people close their mouths and don’t speak anything negative. Not slander and gossip, no lies and hatred, not profanity and controversy. Come, therefore, and make these two wonderful minutes, even two minutes of deep and pure silent scream, to the Creator of the world to hurry our redemption and salvation of our soul ".

The initiative began on the web page of Rabbi Frank, and the last day is gaining momentum on social networks.

"Together with all of you, we get to create a situation in Israel and worldwide, during two minutes of the siren and silence, all sons and daughters of Israel, wherever they are unite together.'Together' everyone will concentrate in silent prayer. This prayer will focus only on one thing: saving Israel - body and soul.

Rabbi Frank explains that this way we can make "millions of people unite during the two minutes of huge prayers! Silent prayer emanating from high and heaven ... and goes up top to the heights of heaven. "He also answers those who raised concerns about halachic problem, "also according to rabbinical rulings of the Haredi community (including Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Auerbach and Hgr"o Yosef), it turned out, the procedure of the 'siren' and 'minute of silence' – there is no religious prohibition of not 'walking in the ways of the gentiles'.

"The prohibition is said only when there is no point in custom and law. And this procedure of the 'siren' and 'standing' certainly has a taste and logic: 1. To engrave the memories of the holy and pure those in all of us. 2. Enact our awareness of the killing of Saints of Israel hy"d, to commemorate with their memory, thus we try to make the killing into a merit, so their memory may protect us now and forever."
