Initiative at the Western Wall area distribution raises objections among Yahadut Htaorah. This is contrary to the opinion of Rav HaKottel Rabbi Shmuel Rabinovitch.

MK Meir Porush of Yahadut Hatorah, said today (Wednesday), in response to the initiative of the Jewish Agency Chairman Natan Sharansky: "The Western Wall, a remnant of our Temple, is the holiest place for the people of Israel, and is a magnet for anyone who comes to pray and believes. Anyone who wishes to harm the sanctity of the place will regret it."

"Generations after generations it was this way," he said, "and must not change."

Jewish Agency Chairman Natan Sharansky is preparing an outline that the plaza will be divided into three parts: Men, women and one part for reformers who want to pray mixed.
