The mashpia of Tomchei Temimim • Hgr"y Springer zt"l

Baruch Dayan Haemes: In the U.S. passed away today the mashpia Rabbi Yitzchak Springer zt"l, mashgiach of Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim Chabad Yeshiva Crown Heights building 770.

This weekend he was hospitalized following deterioration in his medical condition, and at noon returned his soul to its Creator.

At his wedding the Lubavitcher Rebbe zt"l held the kiddushin at his chuppa. For several years he served as an emissary of Chabad in Baltimore, Maryland.

During subsequent years, he engaged in spiritual missions and assimilated in the 770 building in Crown Heights, besides that he was also a member of the 'home check' and a member of the committee for the integrity of the people, and more.

His main role was mashgiach and mashpia at Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim of the Central Lubavitch, in 770 house, a position he filled faithfully and devotedly to the end.

His brother is Rabbi Yechezkel Springer Iblht"a from Kfar Chabad.

The funeral will leave the Shomrei Hadas funeral home at 13:45 New York time and pass near the 770 house at 14:00, without interfering in the yeshiva sedarim which he maintained all his life.
