The crisis which passes on the editorial board of 'Ha'eda', which was first unveiled in Behadrey Haredim, continues to be felt: on Friday, the editorial board issued by mail a series of letters of Eda Hardis seniors, previously written for the paper. The email circulated also promised that "the newspaper will continue to be published as usual."

In an article published in Behadrey Haredim, the reasons that may cause a process that will bring to the closing of 'Ha'eda', were brought - the paper has been published for the last 30 years. Among other things, the resignation of the editor, using freelance contract reporters and replacing them frequently, decrease in the number of subscribers and the difficult financial situation.

In the email published by the editorial board, four letters previously published were attached.

The first letter is by Mhari"tz Dushinsky zt"l in 1941. "I expressed to them my blessing, may the hands of the people who labor for Heaven and for G-d's sake be strengthened, and may His pleasantness be with them." The letter is attached to the signature of the Av Beis Din of the Eda Haredis Hgry"t Weiss, from last month of Cheshvan.

Another letter calls to subscribe to the paper, and is signed by leaders and members of Badatz in the past, including Ra'avad Hagaon R' Moshe Aryeh Freind, the Gab"d Mahari"m Dushinsky, the Gab"d the Minchas Yitzchok, Hagaon R' Yisrael Yaakov Fisher and Av Beis Din of Strasbourg - all of blessed memory.

Another letter from 5755, published on the occasion of the 800th appearance of Ha'eda. In this letter, members of the Badatz zt"l strengthen the members of the newspaper. The fourth letter was published in the past year, and signed by the Gab"d and present members of the Badatz.

"It is doubtful whether they could get these letters today," said a source in Ha'da to Behadrey Haredim. "There are many disputes about the conduct of the newspaper," he explains. "If they reached a stage where they need to recycle old letters, apparently the crisis is much larger than we know."
