Av Beit Din of 'Haeideh': Blessing on Hgr"ch "who gave of His wisdom to those who fear Him"
Surprising statement a day after the visit of Reb Chaim Kanievsky, the Gab"d said to his gabbai that one must make the blessing "Blessed be He who gave of His wisdom to those who fear Him" • visit itself took place without Gabbaim

On Motzei Yom Tov Rishon of Pesach Hgr"ch Kanievsky held a surprise visit at the home of the Gab"d of the Eideh Charedi, Hgry"t Weiss in the Gush 80 neighborhood of Jerusalem. The visit was a "reciprocity visit" after a number of the Gabd's visits to the home of Hgr"ch.
The gabbaim were not present at the surprise visit. The one who initiated the visit was Rabbai Avraham Chaim Cheshin.
A day later on the first day of Chol Hamoed when one of the gabbaim came to the home of Gab"d, the Gab"d told him "if you were here yesterday I would have told you to make the blessing "Blessed be He who gave of His wisdom to those who fear Him".
This is a statement that may shock those with extremist views in the Eideh Chardi because Hgr"ch supported the vote in the elections and the Association to prevent desecration of graves - the bitter rivalry of Atra Kadisha.
